Our Founders
Richard J. Dale

Dick has lived in the Chicago land area all of his life. He currently lives in LaGrange with his wife Carol.RJD

Starting his career in the financial services industry, he developed several automated systems to facilitate balancing with exchange clearing corporations. He then started Transaction Services Inc. where he served as Chairman of the board and Chief Executive Officer. While there he concentrated on automating the trade routing and execution area when he created the first system to automatically execute up to 2,000 shares for most securities traded by NASDAQ .

The first consulting company he stated focused on selling and installing ERP packages for the manufacturing industry. After building the company to service 30 plus companies from Rockford to the Indiana border he took on the challenge of Director of IT for one of his largest customers.
His direction was to get the data locked in the computers into the hands of the managers and employees of the company. To accomplish this he created several internet and intranet applications that the company went on to sell commercially.

After retiring from the manufacturing industry in 2008 he looked around to find something that allowed him to use his years of experience and offer him continued challenges. He teamed up with Kendall Cabe at a web hosting and development company to expand their development and marketing areas. There he gained skills in Joomla while sharing his previous web experience.

In 2010 he and Kendall Cabe formed Times Two Technology to offer web development and training in Joomla and other CMS development tools including Word Press.

Accomplishments:

  • Created Transaction service Inc. to offer execution of all security transaction for broker dealers or intuitions.

R. Kendall Cabe

Kendall is a Southern boy at heart and brings his southern charm to bear in his relationships with clients of Times Two Technology.  Originally from just west of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kendall now resides just north of downtown Chicago in Illinois.

Kendall earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science in May 1998 from North Carolina State University.  He began his career in the Information Technology field shortly after with Dunn Solutions Group, formerly named Dunn Systems.  He worked as a developer, business intelligence analyst, and technical trainer for Dunn Solutions for 8 years.  He migrated to public service as a senior programmer analyst for the City of Chicago in 2006.

In the Fall of 2007, Kendall changed directions and began his career change into Web Design focusing primarily on the Joomla CMS.  While working for InfoTeam until the Spring of 2010, he learned much about Joomla from an implementation, development, and training point of view through numerous client and internal projects.  This knowledge led him farther down the Joomla road and into other opportunities in the Joomla Community.

In 2008, Kendall began working with a local user group - JoomlaChicago - as a participant of the group.  He began to see that there was a need going unfulfilled with the current Joomla 101 sessions.  He spoke with John and Linda Coonen about stepping up and helping work on the Joomla 101 sessions as a trainer.  With another group member, Nick Martinelli, he and Nick revamped and created the current incarnation of the now named Joomla Kickstart sessions.  From the success at the JoomlaChicago monthly meetings, Kendall and Nick were asked to present the Joomla Kickstart sessions in May 2009 and 2010 at the CMS Expo - hosted by the CMS Association.

In the Spring of 2010, Kendall decided to spread his wings and go out on his own.  He teamed up with Richard Dale and formed Times Two Technology to offer web development services, training and support specializing in Open Source Content Management Solutions including Joomla and WordPress.

Accomplishments:

  • Core Team member of JoomlaChicago - local Chicago Joomla User Group
  • Selected to speak at CMS Expo 2009 and 2010
