DIY Designs

Many times, clients, or their staff members, are technically savvy and are interested in building their sites for themselves.  Sometimes they are interested in saving money by having their staff do the work or they are just not sure of how to get started in the Content Management System (CMS) world and want some guidance from a proven professional organization.  For those clients, we have designed a package that will fit their needs.

Our DIY (Do It Yourself) Design package allows a client to do almost all the work themselves while having access to our training and support staff along the way. Our package includes the following:

  • Setup of appropriate CMS
  • 5 hours of training*
  • 5 hours of support*
*Additional training and support is available for $50 - $75 per hour

Here's how our DIY Design package works:

Step 1:Initial Discussions

A client speaks with us about their site and we mutually determine that they want to do most of the work themselves.  Our DIY Design Package is the best fit.

Step 2:CMS Setup

We create an account on our development servers for their website and install the Content Management System (CMS).

Step 3: Training, Development and Support

We supply the client with up to 5 hours of training during this step.  The client utilizes the training to build their website.  The client can call upon our support staff for assistance with the design or development of their website as part of their 5-hour support package. During this time, the client will add on any required 3rd party extensions and will enter all the content for their site.

Step 4: Finalize site and Go Live

The client finalizes their site in development and prepares the site for going live. If the client will be hosting with Times Two Technology, we will migrate the site from development to production. If they are not hosting through Times Two Technology, we will help them migrate their site to their hosting company by providing a backup copy of the site and provide support, where requested, to bring the site up on the live site. Because every hosting company is different, the client may experience issues that arise from during the migration. We will continue to work with the client to resolve these issues but the client may incure addtional support costs.  We can continue to support the customer's needs but in most cases the customer now has the knowledge to support the site on their own.
